Each member of the IviumBoost family is used to boost the power of compatible Ivium potentiostats and with capabilities up to 500Amps and 100V (see table for details.) Each is a separate external instrument with full potentiostat-galvanostat-ZRA capability and, for the high current and high voltage models, inbuilt safety circuitry and interlocks. Each can be purchased at the initial order of your Ivium potentiostat or added later should the emphasis of your research require higher power requirements. This is often very useful for battery research, and fuel cell applications, both of which which often demand scalability, but also for electrolysis, corrosion and deposition research.
Though not strictly a member of the IviumBoost family, we included the OctoBoost16000 here for its flexibility of use with either single channel or multichannel potentiostats and the fact that channels can be paralleled up to 128A (for information, multiple IviumBOOST10012 units can be paralleled up to 500A.)
