Description:

This is a horizontally mounted, double compartment photo-electrochemical H-Cell used to investigate thin film photo-anodes and cathodes. The cells are made of PEEK. It well fits aqueous (EPDM O-Rings) and organic solvent (FFKM O-Rings) electrolyte requirements. The cell is gas-tight having two seperate chambers, each with gas inlet and outlet. This allows bubbling and solution and evacuating gases. The chambers are seperated with ion-exchange membrane, this allows for electrochemical products to appear at photo-anode and cathode to not affect the opposite electrode.
